Kiphire, April 13 (MExN): Nagaland Chief Minister Dr Neiphiu Rio, accompanied by his wife and a delegation, visited the Lower Tizu area under Pongro sub-division in Kiphire district from April 10 to 13 to inspect the progress of various government development projects.
A DIPR report stated that the four-day visit included an inspection of the Tourist Amenities Centre under construction at Lower Tizu, and a review of road projects including the Lower Tizu road via Moya and the Setsu-Lalori-Phor road.
The delegation also visited Ranyak Khun Cave in Mimi and held an interaction with members of the Mimi Circle Joint Council, during which prospects for future developmental projects were discussed.
The district administration of Kiphire, along with police forces, played a key role in facilitating the visit.
