Kohima, March 10 (MExN): The Chief Minister of Nagaland Dr Neiphiu Rio has mourned the passing of Er Keneilhoulie Keditsu, Retd Chief Engineer in Kohima on March 10. The CM said that late Keditsu was a man of noble spirit, he possessed a pleasant disposition and a generous heart; a steadfast and devoted husband, loving father and doting grandfather to his eleven grandchildren.
“He was a caring and loving father-in-law to my daughter,” he said.
In the press note, Rio said that as a government servant, late Keditsu served with unwavering dedication, ever committed to the responsibilities entrusted to him. Even after his retirement, he remained an active and invaluable contributor to society, working in various capacities for the greater good. His contributions to the promotion and preservation of our rich traditions, particularly Naga wrestling, stand as a testament to his love for our heritage. “May his legacy continue to inspire and uplift those who walk the path he so honourably tread,” he added.
“In this hour of sorrow, my family and I extend our deepest sympathies to the bereaved family. We pray that the Almighty grants them strength, solace, and courage to bear this irreparable loss. May his soul find rest in eternal peace,” said the CM.
