Nagaland: Compulsory attendance on Independence Day celebration

Kohima, August 9 (MExN): Nagaland Home Commissioner, Abhijit Sinha, IAS has informed that the State level function for the celebration of 75th Independence Day shall be held at Nagaland Civil Secretariat Plaza on August 15. 

The National Day Celebration shall be attended compulsorily by all the officers and staff of the Nagaland Civil Secretariat, stated a DIPR report. 

The staffs are informed to use the Secretariat buses, which will start from their respective pick-up points at 8:00 am. Further, they have been directed to attend the evening celebration also at the Secretariat Plaza.

All Administrative Heads of Departments have been requested to make arrangements for taking the attendance of their respective staff present in the function and submit the attendance sheet to Home Department, Secretariat for necessary action. The supervisor will take attendance of the Grade IV staff of the Nagaland Civil Secretariat.

The National Day Celebration shall be attended compulsorily by all the officers and staff of the following Directorates located around the vicinity of Nagaland Secretariat Complex: DUDA, Economic & Statistics, Health & Family Welfare, Higher & Technical Education, Horticulture, IDAN, IPR, Land Resource, PHED, Rural Development, Sericulture, Social Welfare, Treasuries & Accounts, Urban Development, and Veterinary & Animal Husbandry.

All the concerned Heads of Departments are directed to make arrangements for taking the attendance of their respective staff present in the function and submit the attendance sheet to the Home Commissioner’s office for necessary action.
