Nagaland COVID-19: 12 more recoveries reported; over 50% ‘cured’

Twelve more COVID-19 positive patients tested negative in their second test on June 14 taking the total number of recoveries in the state to 88. 

 


“12 more patients have tested negative of COVID-19 in their second test. All patients are from Dimapur and shifted to COVID-19 care centre for further observation & monitoring,” Nagaland Health and Family Welfare Minister S Pangnyu Phom tweeted Sunday afternoon. 

 


With this, as of 3PM on June 14, there were 168 positive cases in the state out of which 80 were designated as active while 88 or 52.38% were reportedly 'cured.' 

 


Earlier in the morning, Pangnyu informed on Twitter that 5 new cases were reported out of 232 samples tested. The new case included 3 from Mon and 2 from Peren quarantine centres .
