Nagaland COVID-19: 223 active cases, 164 recovered

Dimapur, June 27 (MExN): 16 new COVID-19 cases were added to Nagaland’s tally of active cases while the two recoveries were reported, according to updates from the State’s health authority on Saturday.


The new cases included 12 from Mon quarantine centres and 4 from Dimapur. The recoveries were reported from Dimapur.


As of June 27 evening, the total number of active cases stood at 223, out of which 218 cases were asymptomatic while 5 others were mild symptomatic cases.


According to the daily briefing on COVID-19 by Principal Secretary, Home, Abhijit Sinha, all the positive persons were receiving medical care at the designated COVID-19 Hospitals.


With this, the total number of infections in the state stands at 387 while 164 have ‘recovered.’
