Nagaland cricketer selected for the BCCI U-19 Men’s One Day Challenger Trophy

DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 24 (MExN): 18 years old Raja Swarnkar from Nagaland, a promising right arm pacer has been selected for the upcoming BCCI U-19 Men’s One Day Challenger Trophy 2021-22 which will be held at Ahmedabad from October 25 to November 10.

He got a call from the BCCI for his brilliant performance in the recently concluded Vinoo Mankad Trophy where he took 14 wickets in 6 matches and also saw Nagaland qualify for the Knock-Outs, informed a press release from the Nagaland Cricket Association. 

The U-19 Men’s One Day Challenger Trophy is organised by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) comprising of six teams with the top-performing players of the Men’s U-19 Vinoo Mankad Trophy. Furthermore, players from this tournament will be selected to represent India U19 team in the upcoming U19 Men’s World Cup.
