Kohima, December 8 (MExN): Nagaland Dance Fiesta (NDF) organised its 5th edition of Hornbill Dance Off on December 7 at RCEMPA, Jotsoma.
In open Dance Competition, Team-X from Manipur stood first position while Gangs of Fantastic (GOF), Manipur and Tanish, Dimapur stood 1st and 2nd runner up respectively.
The top 5 performers included; Groove Rani (Manipur), Savsun (Dimapur), Funktastic (Manipur), Tokjir (Assam) and Arman Ahmed (Dimapur).
In 1 vs 1 Open style battle, Vikash (Manipur) bagged the first place while Dipander (Assam) stood runner-up.
The judges for the competition included; Dipika Majhi, Akehoto Yeptho and Shang Chiu. The judge for 1 Vs 1 Open style battle was Rama. The guest of honour for the event was Sonia Singh, IPS, IGP (ABNS-IR). The host and Emcee for the event were Percy Medo and Shang Chiu.
The sponsors for the event included; The Pick, ATOMY-Kohima Dream Centre, MYC Lamgrace Dance Studio,Wulo Akami Artworks, Cinematixx, Hotel Broadway, Food Hunter and BigBite.
The winner of Open Dance Competition received a cash prize of Rs 30,000 sponsored by THE PICK. 1st runners up received a cash prize of Rs 10,000 and ATOMY products worth Rs 10,000 which was sponsored by the ATOMY, Kohima Dream Centre, 2nd runners up received a cash prize of Rs 10,000 sponsored by MYC Lamgrace Dance Studio. 1 Vs 1 Open style Battle winner and social Media contest received gift Hampers from Wulo Akami Artworks. The production partner was Cinematixx.
