Kohima, September 6 (MExN): The two-day Nagaland Darts Championship 2025, organised by the Nagaland Darts Association (NDA), concluded at La Colline Resort, Kohima, on September 6.
The closing programme began with the final game of the Open Singles, followed by a special song presentation by Vetholu Rhakho. The ceremony was compered by Otto, while “The Voice” segment was presented by Vikhor and Otto.
Delivering the exhortation, Khrielievi Chüsi, Deputy Chairman of the Kohima Municipal Council, said darts is a game played in more than 50 countries across the world. He expressed his fascination with the final match, noting the precision and focus required of each player, and said that attending the event had given him new insights into the sport.
Chüsi expressed hope that players from Nagaland would one day represent India at the international level. He lauded the initiatives of the Nagaland Darts Association in promoting darts and encouraged its inclusion in colleges across the state. He further urged the Association to expand its reach to all districts of Nagaland. Addressing the players, Chüsi urged them to remain dedicated and committed to their sport, adding that with perseverance and discipline they could bring laurels not only to the Nagas but also to India.
Tournament Director, Theja Kire, delivered the concluding remarks, commending the efforts of the organisers, participants, and supporters who contributed to the success of the championship. The event culminated with the prize distribution ceremony.
