Kohima, September 8 (MExN): The Directorate of Treasury & Accounts (DoTA), Government of Nagaland has directed all Drawing and Disbursing Officers (DDOs) to ensure that all pending e-NPS contributions made via e-NPS challan are updated on the Nodal Treasury portal by September 15, 2025.
The directive, issued in continuation of a previous circular dated June 13, 2025, noted that several DDOs have yet to update these contributions. An Action Taken Report (ATR) on the backlog must be submitted to the Directorate of Treasury & Accounts in Kohima by September 30, 2025, stated a DIPR report.
DDOs facing “any difficulty or issue” while updating the e-NPS portal have been advised to notify the Directorate at the earliest. Additionally, DDOs have been advised to regularly download and securely maintain archived data from the e-NPS portal. This practice not only facilitates routine compliance for verification, reconciliation, and audit, but also ensures contingency preparedness by safeguarding records for restoration in case of any system malfunction or database failure, it stated.
