Kohima, July 2 (MExN): The Directorate of School Education (DoSE), Nagaland has informed that in pursuance of Ministry of Education, Department of School Education & Literacy, the web portal for online self nomination by teachers is open from June 23 and last date of submission is July 15.
The condition of eligibility for consideration of National Teachers Award is only regular Teachers and Heads of Schools with Minimum ten years of service are eligible, stated a DIPR report.
In this regard, teachers who have contributed for the improvement of quality of education through their commitment and industry and also enriched the lives of their students can submit self-nominate themselves before the prescribed last date of submission.
Further details may be obtained from the web portal https:/nationalawardstoteachers.education.gov.in. All DEOs, Sr. SDEOs and SDEOs have been requested to ensure wide publicity in their respective jurisdiction.
In another update, DoSE has notified all the concerned that teachers serving in the government and private schools following the State Government curriculum who have contributed for the improvement of quality of education through their commitment and industry and also enriched the lives of their student may be nominated for consideration for the award of district or state teachers award 2025 by Administrative officers of the respective area, Head of the Institution and NGOs involved in the field of education at village, sub-division and district level.
Nomination form and eligibility conditions for considerations for the awards are available at every District Education Office and on the Department’s website.
Grant of Financial Assistance
Further, teachers (serving in Government and Private Schools following the State Curriculum) with permanent disability suffering from terminal ailment undergoing prolonged treatment for his or her own ailment suffering from natural calamity of devastating nature for which grant or relief was not received from any other sources may apply for the grant of Financial Assistance in the prescribed format available on the departments website.
The last date of submission of duly filled nominations forms for Financial Assistance at the respective DEO/SDEO establishment is July 20, 2025.
