Kohima, March 31 (MExN): Nagaland Education Association has expressed pain over the demise of Chokriveyi Venyo, general secretary, Naga People's Party (NPF) and former president of Naga Students’ Federation (NSF). “Chokriveyi was a prominent Naga social worker, a teacher, a thinker, a Naga patriot, and a highly intellectual and resourceful Naga leader, a students’ leader and a politician,” stated a condolence message from Dr. Zavise Rume, president, Nagaland Education Association. “In his death, we lost a great social leader among the Nagas.” The Association shared sorrow and sadness with the bereaved family and conveyed condolences to his wife and children. It prayed that the Almighty God shower his abundant blessings upon them and give the strength to bear the loss.
