The Trends & Result of women candidates in the general elections to 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly as per the Election Commission of India’s results portal at around 12 noon on March 2.

Dimapur, March 2 (MExN): Out of 4 women contenders, three were leading over their opponents as per the early trends of results of the general election to the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA) held on February 27.
As per updates on the Election Commission of India around 12 noon of March 2, Er Kahuli Sema of BJP and Salhoutuonuo Kruse and Hekhani Jakhalu of NDPP were all in the lead.
Salhoutuonuo representing the Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party from 8 Western Angami Assembly Constituency (AC) had garnered 51.68% of the votes polled, while Bharatiya Janata Party’s Er Kahuli from 32 Atoizu AC had votes share of 53.22% at 12.05AM.
Also representing the NDPP from 3-Dimapur AC, Hekhani was in neck- and-neck with the Lok Janshakti Party(Ram Vilas) Azheto Zhimomi at 44% and 41.69% votes shares respectively.
The fate of Rosy Thomson, the Indian National Congress candidate from 6 Tenning AC, however, was less likely with just 0.58 of the total votes counted so far.
