Nagaland today emerged as champion of 6th Agape Cup 2022 (National Christian Football Championship) organized by the Sports Coalition of India (SCI) and hosted by GethemGo Sports International (GSI) at Indira Gandhi Stadium, Kohima.
Nagaland clinched the championship title after defeating Goa 2-1. Nagaland received the champion’s trophy, John 3:16 Ball and medals. Tianuksung of Nagaland with six goals received the award for highest scorer of the tournament.
Gracing the valedictory function, Nagaland Football Association, President, K Neibou Sekhose congratulated Gethemgo Sports International and Sports Coalition of India for successful conduct of the event
Further, Sekhsoe announced that NFA will extend full support and cooperation if Unity World Cup 2024 is held in Nagaland as proposed by SCI. The NFA president gave away the prizes to the winners.
