Chümoukedima, May 27 (MExN): The State Entrepreneurs Conclave 2026 was held at Niathu Resort, Zone Niathu by The Park, Chümoukedima on May 27, bringing together entrepreneurs, MSMEs, innovators, industry leaders and ecosystem enablers to deliberate on entrepreneurship, digital transformation and business development in Nagaland.
The conclave was organised by YouthNet in strategic partnership with CUTS International and The Asia Foundation, with support from Google.
Delivering the welcome address, YouthNet Director Nunesenuo Chase acknowledged the role of entrepreneurs in generating livelihoods and contributing to socio-economic transformation. She reiterated YouthNet’s commitment towards supporting entrepreneurs through market access, advisory support, capacity building and institutional linkages.
A panel discussion on “Innovation, Cybersecurity & Business Growth Convergence” featured entrepreneur Toinali Chophi of Beauty Barn India, Medo Putsure of Bambusa Express and JOME Foods, and Tasang Imchen of Expression Life. The session was chaired by YouthNet Associate Director Neikepekho Shosahie.

The conclave also included technical sessions on digital transformation and enterprise resilience. Shubham Ghosh of CUTS International spoke on digital security and trust for MSMEs, while researcher Sohom Banerjee discussed the growing role of Artificial Intelligence and cybersecurity in business growth and risk management.
Dedicated support zones were set up to facilitate entrepreneurs in areas such as product promotion, market access, digital commerce, business compliance, certifications and human resource development. Participants also received information on platforms and initiatives including Amazon, Flipkart, Startup India, MeitY and the Made in Nagaland Centre.
According to YouthNet, the conclave aimed to strengthen collaboration among entrepreneurs, institutions and support organisations while promoting a digitally prepared and market-ready entrepreneurial ecosystem in Nagaland.
