DIMAPUR, OCTOBER 16 (MExN): Naga fighters came out tops on October 15 winning 4 bouts out 5 at the Yoddha Fighting Championship Mumbai. As per a press statement, Avizo Liegise beat Karan Waghmare by unanimous decision in their Lightweight bout. Mulinuba Molier won via submission locking Karminder in an arm triangle choke in a first round Flyweight bout. All India Mixed Martial Arts Federation AIMMAF India nationals’ winner, Matsung Ozukum beat Digvijay Jadhav by unanimous decision in the Strawweight bout. In the main event of the amateur fight card, Ketholetuo Nagi beat Kishan Gupta, also by unanimous decision after a gruelling 5-round to become the first Yoddha FC amateur Straw weight Champion. with the win, Nagi also became the second Naga to win Mixed Martial Arts championship belt after YoddhaFC amateur Featherweight champion Imkong Jamir. The only loss was in Bantam weight as Atokivi Chish lost to Mohseen Bagwan in the first round.
