Dimapur, December 4 (MExN): The Nagaland Basketball Association will conduct selection trials for the Senior Men on December 8 in Kohima and Dimapur simultaneously. The Kohima trials will be held at the Christ King Higher Secondary School from 2:00 pm onwards, whereas in Dimapur, the trials will be conducted at Basket Court, Phom Colony, Signal Bosti from 2:00 pm onwards. According to a press release from the NBA, 16 players will be selected from the trials and will go on to represent the state at the Senior Zonal National Basketball Championship (Northeast zone) from December 16 to 19 in Shillong, Meghalaya. The release also stated that the final selection trials for state Junior Boys will be held from 2:00 pm onwards, December 17, at Christ King Higher Secondary School, Kohima. All the 24 players selected in the first trials have been requested to attend the final trails without fail. The players should produce their Aadhar Card and Birth Certificates at the venue. The final 12 players will represent the state at the Junior National Championship at Indore, Madhya Pradesh from January 4 to 10, 2022.
