Kohima, December 8 (MExN): The Governor of Nagaland RN Ravi has extended greetings to the Angami brothers and sisters and to the people of Nagaland on the occasion of Terhünyi festival.
“Celebrations of this festival is thanks giving to God for the bountiful harvest and good health to the people. It is also an opportunity for the younger generation to learn the rich culture and beautiful traditions of the Angamis,” the Govenor said in a message.
“Generosity, benevolence, unity and forgiveness are some significant essence found in Terhünyi festival,” he said.
“As you celebrate, I urge everyone to follow the Covid-19 protocols. I wish you all happiness, good health, prosperity and happy celebrations. God bless everybody!, he added.
