Dimapur, March 4 (MExN): The Governor of Nagaland PB Acharya and Chief Electoral Officer, Abhijit Sinha have lauded the people of the state for ensuring successful conduct of the State General Elections and enabling democratic process of the country.
The Governor in a message also complimented the Election Commission of India, Chief Election Commissioner of Nagaland and his entire team, all security personnel, government officials involved in election duties for ensuring its successful conduct.
“The Governor also extended his best wishes to all the elected Members of the Nagaland Legislative Assembly,” stated the message released by PRO to Governor.
Meanwhile, the Chief Electoral Officer, Nagaland Abhijit Sinha has expressed gratitude to every voter of Nagaland who came to exercise their franchise and patiently stood in queues at the polling stations to cast their votes on February 27.
In a press release issued by the Media Cell, CEO Nagaland, Sinha also lauded the entire District Election machinery and all the polling personnel deployed at booths and the officials related to various processes for the conduct of the election.
He further appreciated the State Police and Central Forces deployed for the conduct of the poll as well as the media for their wide coverage of the entire election process.
