Nagaland Governor extends wishes ahead of Pran Pratishtha

Kohima, January 21  (MExN): The Governor of Nagaland, La Ganesan, has extended his best wishes and expressed hope that the inauguration of the Ram Temple in Ayodhya on January 22 will foster a feeling of unity and brotherhood among everyone as they celebrate and inculcate the valuable lessons taught by Lord Rama.

The Pran Pratishtha of 'Ram Lalla' will take place on January 22, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi presiding over the ceremony in the presence of thousands of devotees and guests, the Governor said in a statement via PRO Raj Bhavan, Kohima. The seven-day Pre-Prana Pratistha ritual was held from January 16-21.

In the statement, the Governor further noted that similar ceremonies are being held all over the world, including Nagaland, commemorating the consecration of the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. Special programmes, including the live telecast of the event, have been organised, and Governor Ganesan of Nagaland will also be visiting the Hindu Mandir at PWD Kohima to mark the occasion, it added.

According to the statement, the historic inauguration holds great significance for Hindus worldwide and also marks a new era of spiritual and cultural importance. “The consecration of the temple in the birthplace of Lord Ram fills the hearts of many with unparalleled emotions,” it added.
