
KOHIMA, JUNE 16 (MExN): Nagaland Governor, La Ganesan has greeted the Muslim community on the occasion of Eid-ul-Zuha.
“Eid-ul-Zuha Mubarak! On this blessed day, may the spirit of sacrifice and devotion bring you all closer to Allah and fill your life with peace and happiness. May your prayers be answered and your sacrifices accepted,” the Governor said in a message from Raj Bhavan.
“Let us take this opportunity to spread love, kindness, and compassion to those around us. As we gather with family and friends, may our hearts be filled with gratitude and our homes with joy, remember those in need and share your blessings generously,” he added.
MCD greets
The Muslim Council Dimapur also extended greeting on the occasion of Idd-ul zuha to all citizens of Nagaland.
MCD also prays to Almighty 'Allah' to continue his blessings upon all citizens of Nagaland so that peace and harmony would prevail in Nagaland, Working President of MCD, A Rahman said in a press note. The MCD also appealed to all Muslims to take outmost care during slaughter and sacrifice of animals so as not to hurt the sentiments of other faiths. Designated slaughter place at Iddgah Sharif or DMC Slaughter may be preferred for slaughter of animals, he stated.
