Kohima, April 20 (MExN): Continuing the consultation process in the wake of rising COVID-19 cases in the state and across the country, Nagaland Governor, RN Ravi today met the leaders of various sects and faiths based organisation (FBO).

The interaction cum consultative meeting at Dr Imkongliba Hall, Raj Bhavan, Kohima was attended by leaders of Hindu, Muslim, Jain, Sikh, Budhist and Indigenous faiths, informed a press release from the PRO to Governor. 

The Governor discussed the COVID situation in the State and told them that such an extraordinary situation calls for concerted efforts of every individual, every section of the society, every faith and every community, it said. 

He also urged the faith leaders to rise up to the occasion and proactively make people more conscious for strict adherence to the COVID-19 appropriate protocols and encourage the eligible people for vaccination, it added. 

The Governor, the release said, also appreciated the leaders for their valuable suggestions and assured them to take up with the State Government for further action.
