Kohima, September 1 (MExN): Government of Nagaland has announced with profound grief the demise of Pranab Mukherjee, former President of India at army research and referral hospital, New Delhi on August 31. As a mark of respect to the departed dignitary, seven days state mourning will be observed throughout Nagaland from August 31 to September 6 both days inclusive. During the period of state mourning the National Flag will fly at half mast on all buildings throughout the state where it is flown regularly and there will be no official entertainment. A communique from the Chief Secretary Nagaland has requested all to take action accordingly.
