Kohima, March 5 (MExN): The Department of Industries & Commerce, Government of Nagaland organised a stakeholders' meeting on export promotion at the Conference Hall, Directorate of Industries & Commerce, Kohima on March 5.
The meeting aimed to promote exports from Nagaland and provide a platform for stakeholders to discuss challenges and opportunities in the export sector.
Keynote address was delivered by P Tokugha Sema, Director, Industries & Commerce. Technical sessions were moderated by Ikheshe Kahoto, Assistant Director and Imsongmeren Imsong, IOI.
Expert resource persons shared their insights on various aspects of export promotion. Md Ashraf Kamal, Business Development Manager, APEDA, Guwahati, spoke on “How to Export & Marketing Strategies,” Ashish Bhoutika, Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), Guwahati talked on “Export Procedures & Documentation,” David NG, Officer in Charge, Spices Board, Kohima shared his expertise on “Export procedures & Marketing of Spices” while RK Vijay Byrsat, Founder & Chairman, Centre of Learning, knowledge & Services talked on “Market Avenues.”
Pepenthung Lotha, Consultant, Grand Thornton Bharat LLP spoke on “Uttar Poorva Transformative Industrialization Scheme (UNNATI 2024.”
The meeting was chaired by Cholzo Sophie, Deputy Director, Industries & Commerce. The meeting concluded with an interactive session and closing remarks.
