Kohima, November 3 (MExN): The Government of Nagaland has issued a notification for all pensioners who receive monthly pensions through the Senior Treasury Office Dimapur, reminding them of the annual requirement for physical verification as per Treasury Rules. The verification process for 2024 will commence on November 1 and will run through two periods: from November 1 to November 30, and from December 1 to December 11.
Pensioners are advised to bring their Personal Pension Order (PPO) book and attend the verification on the assigned dates. The government has warned that any pensioners who fail to comply with the verification requirement may have their pensions withheld and closed, with their cases submitted to the Accountant General (AG) Nagaland upon completion of the process.
