DIMAPUR, MAY 19 (MExN): The Nagaland State Government will be observing May 21 as ‘Anti-Terrorism Day’ in the state. A press note from the Information Cell, Secretariat said that “the objective behind observance of this day is to wean away the youth from terrorism and the cult of violence by highlighting the sufferings of the common people and showing as to how it is prejudicial to the national interest.” In regard to observance of the day the State Chief Secretary, Pankaj Kumar has directed all the Heads of Department, Deputy Commissioners, State Government Offices, public sector undertakings and other public institutions to organize appropriate programmes, including the pledge taking ceremony, to observe the ‘Anti-Terrorism Day.’
