Nagaland govt re-constitutes Project Sanction Committee

Kohima, July 3 (MExN): As provided at the Operational Guidelines for Scheme of Shelter for Urban Homeless (SUH) and Support to Urban Street Vendors (SUSV) components of Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM) and in pursuant to Government of India, Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs, the State Government has re-constituted the Project Sanction Committee (PSC) at the state level with immediate effect. 

The Committee constitutes of Secretary, Urban Development Department: Chairman; Representative of Social Welfare Department: Member; Director, Urban Development: Member; Additional Director, Municipal Affairs: Member; Representative of MoHUA, GoI: Member; and State Mission Director, SULM (DAY-NULM): Member Secretary. 

The Project Sanction Committee (PSC) shall consider and approve proposals submitted by ULBs/State Urban Livelihoods Mission (SULM) under the following components of Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana-National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM): Scheme of Shelter for Urban Homeless (SUH) and Support to Urban Street Vendors (SUSV).

“This supersedes this Department's Notification NO.UDD/8-NULM/08-SUH/2015 dated May 8, 2015,” stated a DIPR report.
