
Kohima, October 28 (MExN): In honour of the President of India, Droupadi Murmu’s visit to Nagaland, a civic reception will be organised at Capital Cultural Hall, Kohima at 3:00 pm on November 2.
In this regard, Nagaland Home Commissioner, Abhijit Sinha in a circular has requested the various tribal bodies to attend the same. The invitees include president and office bearers of the respective organisations: Central Nagaland Tribes Council; Eastern Nagaland Peoples’ Organization; Tenyimi Peoples' Organization; Angami Public Organization, Kohima; Ao Senden, Mokokchung; Chakhesang Public Organization, Phek; Chang Khulei Setsang, Tuensang; Nagaland Garo Tribal Council, Dimapur; Kachari Tribal Council Nagaland, Dimapur; Karbi (Mikir) Union, Nagaland, Dimapur; Khiamniungan Tribal Council, Noklak; Konyak Union, Mon; Kuki Inpi (Nagaland), Dimapur; Lotha Hoho, Wokha; Phom People Council, Longleng; Pochury Hoho, Meluri; Rengma Hoho, Tseminyu; Sumi Hoho, Zunheboto; Tikhir Tribal Council, Kuisam; United Sangtam Likhum Pumji, Kiphire; Yimkhiung Tribal Council, Shamator; Nagaland Zeliang Peoples Organization, Peren.
All are requested to attend the civic reception wearing traditional shawls, and to be seated at the venue latest by 2:00 pm and “face masks may kindly be worn at all times during the function,” the circular added.

Meanwhile, a circular issued through the DIPR stated that all the Administrative Heads of Departments and Heads of Departments have been requested to attend the civic reception “positively” and give suitable instructions to all the officers and staff of their departments and directorates to also attend the function.
“All may kindly be seated at the venue latest by 2:30 pm, and as advised by the President's Secretariat, all are requested to wear face mask at all times during the function,” it stated.
Further, cultural programme and State Banquet will be also organized at the State Banquet Hall, Chief Minister's Residential Complex, Kohima at 6:30 pm on November 2.
All the Administrative Heads of Departments and Heads of Departments have been requested to attend the cultural programme and the state banquet positively. “All may kindly be seated at the venue latest by 6:00 pm, and as advised by the President's Secretariat, all are requested to wear face mask at all times during the function,” the DIPR report added.
