Dimapur, July 29 (MExN): The President of Nagaland Pradesh Congress Committee (NPCC), K Therie today alleged that the “Nagaland Government is under serious pressure from BJP.”
Addressing ranks and files of DCC Phek, all the frontals bodies, the 5 A/C ACCC at Phek on July 29, he also appreciated the people of Phek District especially the NPF for supporting INC candidate K L Chishi with a very laudable majority, informed a press release from the General Secretary Phek District Congress Committee (PDCC).
Therie further claimed that CM has surrendered his writ to “BJP High command by submitting the state into the hands of the BJP.”
“I don’t know how he is at peace doing this to Nagaland people,” he reportedly stated, addressing the party workers.
The NPCC President espoused that the BJP Government in the “nation is fragile” and that the lower class society, religion minorities are “being discriminated under the BJP.”
The elected MPs are not fools altogether and they may be fooled once but not always, he said, adding: “They will soon realize the dangerous trend for their own communities.”
According the release, while noting that it does not want to bring religion to the front of politics, Therie claimed that it “become unavoidable for we cannot compromise at any cost though our faith may be a weak one.”
He further expressed confident that the future elections would be better for the opposition as “more affected people from different marginalized sectors will come together to resist political domination of the BJP.”
The release also stated that the NPCC president urged the workers to remain steadfast and to be strong and be the seeds of Congress while being confident that Congress will return to power through ballot paper.
“For which we will together fight tooth and nail,” he added.
The NPCC President also stated that the “BJP Government is EVM Government and not a Public Mandated Government.”
“The result sheets are abnormal and unbelievable by any political analysts. BJP Government is like an egg and when it falls, it will be utterly beyond repair,” he stated.
