Nagaland health dept opens Ayush Dispensary in Liphi village

Wokha, November 21 (MExN): Ayush Dispensary at Liphi village under Wokha district was inaugurated by Dr W Nchumbemo Ezung, Additional Director, Health and Family Welfare, Nagaland on November 21. He informed that the dispensary will start functioning soon and urged the villagers to take ownership. 

Mission Director, NHM Nagaland, Dr Kevichusa Medikhru commented on the popularity of Ayush medicine in India and setting up of the dispensary will be beneficial to Liphi villagers and neighbouring villages. 

Liphi Village Council members thanked the medical department for setting up the dispensary and also Woshumo Mozhui for donating the land to construct the dispensary. 

Dr Kevichusa earlier interacted with CMO Office staffs, ASHAs and CHOs of Wokha sadar and had inspected Sanis and Bhandari Community Health Centres on November 20. He urged the health workers to put more effort in containing the COVID-19 crisis and continue to provide essential health care services to the public.
