NEW DELHI, JUNE 18 (MExN): Minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom met with the Union Minister of State (IC) for Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani Siddha and Homeopathy (AYUSH), Shripal Yesso Naik in New Delhi and urged the latter for more AYUSH hospitals in all eleven districts of the state.
A press note from the PRO, Nagaland House, New Delhi informed that Phom apprised the Union Minister on the implementation of the AYUSH scheme in the state and thanked him for “his continuous support.”
The Union Minister reportedly “appreciated the state for implementing the AYUSH Scheme/project well in the state and assured the Minister for more AYUSH projects in the state.” Naik added that there would be a separate directorate for AYUSH Department in the State. He asked the state to submit a state priority project at the earliest.
The Minister from Nagaland was accompanied by Commissioner and Secretary, Himato Zhimomi and H&FW Director, Dr. Vizolie Suokhrie.
