Mon, April 10 (MExN): Commissioner & Secretary, Health & Family Welfare, Y Kikheto Sema IAS along with a team of department senior officers visited CHC Tizit Town while on the way to Mon town on April 10.
A DIPR report stated that Kikheto applauded the Hans Foundation for utilizing their CSR funds for the construction of building and staff quarters for CHC Tizit Town. He instructed the Principal Director to ensure close coordination and cooperation between the department and companies investing in CSR funding for better delivery mechanisms. He also appreciated the Hans Foundation for providing nine Mobile Medical Unit Van units to the Mon districts for providing Health Care to the needy people.
The team visited the sub-centre (Health and Wellness Centre) in Tizit village. Kikheto appreciated the CHO & staff for maintaining one of the district’s best Health & Wellness centres and made a special request to the Tizit village authorities to donate sufficient and better location sites for the expansion of office and housing facilities to its staff to which the village leaders agreed.
The Commissioner & Secretary was accompanied by Principal Director, Dr Vibeitonuo M Sachu, Additional Director, EE, CMO Mon.
