Nagaland House, RK Puram re-opens in New Delhi

New Delhi, July 13 (MExN): The much awaited Nagaland House at RK Puram, New Delhi has begun operation.  

Chief Minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio and Deputy Chief Minister, Y Patton along with their colleagues of Ministers and Advisors held a short programme at the RK Puram Nagaland House to operationalize the newly constructed building and also the Naga Christian Fellowship (NCF) chapel hall there on July 13.  

During the handing of NCF chapel hall to the NCF chaplain Rev. Dr. Ricky Medom, Rio appreciated the NCF for their prayer support and spiritual guidance to the Nagas in general and student community in particular, informed a press release from Kuolie Mere, PRO (IPR), Nagaland House, New Delhi.  

The NCF chaplain read a passage from the Bible and prayed for the new chapel hall and the building. Medom expressed gratefulness to the Nagaland State government, saying that since 1985 till date, the NBCC and the government of Nagaland have been working together for the glory of God and will continue to do in the days to come.  

Around 150 people were present in the programme, including State cadre IAS officers and retired IAS officers. Nagaland House, RK Puram has 34 rooms along with 4 dormitories available for visitors.
