The Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) Examination under Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) commenced across Nagaland on February 12. Altogether, 17,911 candidates enrolled for HSSLC exams from 68 examination centres across the state. The exam will continue till March 6. 274 candidates will also be appearing under Compartmental category in 13 examination centres.
Meanwhile, 22,136 candidates, who have enrolled for the HSLC examination 2024, would be appearing from 95 examination centres across Nagaland from February 13 to 23. According to NBSE, 449 candidates would also be appearing the HSLC Compartmental Examination from 15 examination centres.
Meanwhile, in regard to ongoing board exams of the NBSE and CBSE schools, the Dimapur Naga Students’ Union (DNSU) has appealed to the general public to avoid anything that causes noise pollution and loud music in the localities which could hamper the students from studying, especially during evenings and late nights. For the welfare of the students, DNSU also made a sincere appeal to the Electrical Department to provide regular power supply without disruption.
Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio and Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton took to X to wish the students luck for the tests. "I urge you all to study hard, stay focused, be confident and give your best. Wishing you all good health and may God bless your efforts with success,” Rio said. While, Patton added, “May each of you approach the exams with confidence, calm and clarity of mind. Remember, success is not just about marks, but the journey of growth and learning you embark on. May you all excel and emerge victorious in every challenge ahead. Good luck.”
