The proposed air drills have begun with the Indian Air Force's (IAF) Sukhoi SU-30  aircrafts landing in Dimapur Airport for the exercise. 

The IAF is set to conduct the exercise over the skies of Dimapur till November 21.

Earlier on November 17, the Director of the Dimapur Airport, Airports Authority of India  informed it is an scheduled exercise and the public should not panic.

Like other civilian airports in the north-east region,  the Director  the said that Dimapur Airport has been designated for conducting such an exercise.

He added that IAF planes will start flying in and out from Wednesday and exercise will not disrupt scheduled civilian flights.
