Nagaland intercession network for Churches

KOHIMA, AUGUST 28 (DIPR): The Nagaland Baptist Church Council (NBCC) organised a joint meeting with Pastors and Leaders of Kohima Churches at Union Baptist Church on 25th August 2007. NBCC

General Secretary, Zhabu Terhüja spoke on how as Christians we can help people at different times of need through special prayer support. He also gave a proposal approved by the NBCC Executive about Nagaland Intercession Network, whereby prayer warriors are requested from every member to meet the ministry needs of the churches. He also said that this Nagaland Intercession network is a new dimension of ministry, which can bring about a tangible connection with individuals indicating care. He expressed hope that this ministry can bring the NBCC and the congregations closer to each other. He pointed out that the Intercession Network station in Kohima will link up with all the Associations’ centres, District and sub-divisional centres also important global prayer centres. The meeting resolved to let the General Secretary co-ordinate and set up the committee outside of NBCC office while the Kohima Town Pastors fellowship will handle the programmes.
