Nagaland joins inter-state youth exchange prog in Haryana

Kohima, July 27 (MExN): Nagaland has joined the Inter-State Youth Exchange programme 2025 at Kurukshetra University, Haryana from July 23 to 25 last. Held under the banner “Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat,” this programme is an initiative by Government of India to promote cultural exchange and integration among different states and union territories.

Nagaland team comprised 23 youth along with one teacher guide from Baptist College Kohima.

Nagaland contingent performed folk songs and dances at the event.

Viruokuo Zumu, youth resource officer & nodal officer from the Department of Youth Resources & Sports, Nagaland, informed that the three- day programme was marked by a vibrant cultural exchange among different communities.

The main objective of the Inter-State Youth Exchange Programme (ISYEP) is to foster national integration, cultural exchange, and a sense of unity in diversity among young people from different states of India, thereby strengthening emotional bonds and promoting pride in being Indian.
