Nagaland joins National Integration Camp in Itanagar

Kohima, January 13 (MExN): The National Integration Camp under the theme ‘Viksit Yuva Viksit Bharat’ was held from January 5 to 11 at Dera Natung Government College, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh.

Seven from Baptist College Kohima and three from Fazl Ali College, Mokokchung joined the camp under the guidance of Programme Officer Naro from Baptist College.

This week-long initiative was organized by the Regional Directorate of NSS Guwahati, and state NSS cell, Directorate of Higher and Technical Education, Government of Arunachal Pradesh with Dera  Natung Govt. College, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, aimed to foster unity among 15 states, including Nagaland, represented by dedicated participants.

Various eminent personalities graced the event as chief guests and guests of honor, contributing their expertise to technical, intellectual, and cultural dimensions.

The event witnessed vibrant cultural programs, complemented by diverse extracurricular activities such as yoga, cultural competitions, slogan writing, painting, poster making, and extempore speeches.

A captivating cultural rally traversed Itanagar town, showcasing the rich tapestry of India's unity in diversity.

The organizing team, program officers, and volunteers embarked on a historical and cultural tour to Ziro. Notable visits included the Sree Sidheswar Nath Temple and Saint Claret College in Ziro.

Additionally, dignitaries explored key landmarks like the Buddhist temple, state museum, and the state legislative assembly hall of Arunachal Pradesh.

This National Integration Camp served as a platform for meaningful exchanges, cultural celebrations, and a shared exploration of India's diverse heritage, promoting the vision of a developed and united nation.
