Kohima, July 7 (PTI): Nagaland recorded more COVID-19 recoveries than fresh infections on Wednesday as 105 people were cured of the disease while 44 new cases pushed the tally to 25,663. The sample positivity rate was 4.54%.
The new cases on July 7 were reported from the following districts: Dimapur: 15 Kiphire: 1 Kohima: 14 Mokokchung: 3 Mon: 1 Peren: 5 Phek: 1 Tuensang: 1 Wokha: 3.
A total of 105 COVID-19 positive patients: Kohima (45), Dimapur (17), Tuensang (21), Mokokchung (6) and Zunheboto (9) recovered during the day, taking the total number of recovered patients to 23,376.
2 new COVID-19 deaths took the death toll in the State to 491, as per the COVID-19 bulletin issued by the State health department.
Nagaland currently has 1,070 active COVID-19 cases, with 74 admitted in COVID hospitals and 930under home isolation at present.
