Nagaland loses to Meghalaya by 10 runs

Dimapur, January 11 (MExN): In the opening match of the u-19 BCCI associate member trophy being played at Chattisgarh, Nagaland faced a shocking defeat by 10 runs against Meghalaya.  Earlier the two teams along with BCCI officials and Chattisgarh cricket State officials maintained a two minutes silence to honour the demise of two BCCI registered players from Nagaland-Deepak Sinah and Govind Pradhan, who died in a road accident on 24th December 2010.A.Rahman, team manager of Nagaland team gave a brief address about the death of these two players.

Toss won by Meghalaya and decided to bat.

A.Rahman, team manger felt that the shock defeat of the Nagaland Team was a result of fatigue after a long journey of the team by train which was delayed by 13 hours and only reached few hours  before the match. The team is expected to do well in others matches.
