Kohima, June 11 (MExN): Power supply to Kiphire, Tuensang, Shamator, and Noklak districts will be affected on June 12 due to maintenance works at the 132/33kV Meluri Sub-station for the 132kV Kiphire-Meluri Line.
A notification from the Power Department informed that this would result in a total shutdown of the 132kV Kiphire-Meluri Transmission Line from 12 noon to 3 PM.
As a result, there will be a total shutdown in the aforesaid four districts during the maintenance period, it added.
The department requested all consumers and the public in the affected areas to extend their cooperation and bear the inconvenience during the shutdown period.
