Nagaland: Mandatory COVID-19 testing for officials ahead of President’s visit

Kohima, October 29 (MExN): All Government of Nagaland officials, dignitaries and other persons meeting or coming in close proximity of the President of India during her visit to the State have been advised to undergo RT-PCR testing for COVID-19. Accordingly, the State Home Commissioner Abhijit Sinha has issued a circular on Friday informing that the Health and Family Welfare Department has made necessary arrangements for COVID-19 testing for all the Ministers, Advisors, and MLAs, and all the officials/staff concerned of the CMO are setting up sample collection booths on October 31 at the State Banquet Hall, CMRC Secretariat Plaza, Kohima at 11:00 am. Stating that the advisory was received from the President’s Secretariat, Sinha requested all concerned persons to get themselves tested.
