DDGIF meeting today
The Dimapur District Gorkha Indigenous Forum (DDGIF) has convened a meeting on August 11 at Duncan Basti Community Hall, Dimapur at 2:00 pm with all the Gorkha NGO’s/Civil societies (Presidential & General Secretary) based under Dimapur District “to discuss the matter pertaining to ILP, RIIN and various other issues.” A press release issued by the Convener DDGIF has informed that the invited Gorkhas are as follows: All Gorkha GBs’; Chümoukedima Gorkha Union; Chümoukedima Gorkha Youth; Dimapur Gorkha Elders Forum; Dimapur Gorkha Youth Club; Dimapur Gorkha Union (DGU)(with 2 representatives from every unit and Advisors of DGU); Gorkha Student’s Union (GSUD); Nepali Basti Mandir Committee; Gorkha Hindu Milan Sewa Sangh and Association of Gorkha Baptist Churches Nagaland. It has further requested all the NGOs’ to attend the meeting with 2 officials only i.e. the President & General secretary.
Tuensang DPDB meet
The Tuensang District Planning & Development Board (DPDB) monthly meeting for the month of August Cum finalization of LADP Schemes for 2019-20 will be held on August 14 at 11:00 am, at Deputy Commissioner Conference Hall. This was informed in a press release issued by Nribemo lotha, District planning officer & Member Secretary, DPDB Tuensang. It has further requested all the DPDB members to attend the meeting positively
DC Mokokchung informs on I-Day celebration
Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Rajesh Soundararajan has informed all the government servants posted within Mokokchung town that the Independence Day function 2019 will commence at the usual time of 8:40 am at Imkongmeren Sports Complex, Mokokchung. Therefore, all the government servants and also students have been directed to attend the function without fail. Further, all the District Head of Offices have been directed to take the attendance of their respective staff and submit to DC’s Office for onward submission to the Government for necessary action. Deputy Commissioner also requested all the Village Council members and GBs of Ungma, Mokokchung, Chuchuyimpang and Khensa Villages, GBs of Mokokchung town, functionaries of all the 18 wards and Public of Mokokchung town to attend the function.
