Nagaland’s lone Rajya Sabbha MP S Phangnon Konyak will be attending the Second Parliamentary Conference on Interfaith Dialogue, to be held in Rome, Italy from June 19 to 21. The conference is being organised by Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) and Italian Parliament in cooperation with Religions for Peace.
Meanwhile, Phangnon expressed heartfelt gratitude to Jagdeep Dhankhar, Vice President of India, for nominating her to be part of the Conference. “I am looking forward to attending this global conference, which stands as a significant step toward embracing inclusivity, dialogue and harmony across faiths and cultures,” she stated.
