Dimapur, October 17 (MExN): A total of 72,309 children have been vaccinated in the first two weeks of the MRV Campaign in Dimapur District carried out in the schools.
According to Dr Rebecca Y. Sema, DIO, RCH-UIP, “More than 50 % of the total target has been vaccinated during the first two weeks of the campaign. The outreach activities have started today, and the coverage so far looks very promising, and hopefully, Dimapur District will be able to achieve its target soon.” She further stated that the second round of the MRV Campaign with low coverage schools is also being carried out along with the outreach activities.
Dr Rebecca expressed gratitude to school authorities for their support and co-operation during the two weeks school MRV campaign and further, request colony/ward leaders and local authorities to render their assistance and co-operation during the outreach activities in their respective localities.
