Accident on NH near Piphema
Dimapur, January 19 (MExN): A White bolero pick up, chassis no MA1ZN2TBKHIM89320, carrying 17 local workers of ECI company, which is undertaking highway construction work toppled due to fast turning on the road. According to DPRO Dimapur report, Assam Rifles camped at Piphema rescued the injured. The injured were also given immediate medical assistance at Piphema and then at Assam Rifles hospital at Ghaspani after which the critically injured persons were evacuated by AR to Christian Hospital, Dimapur. Few persons are reportedly in critical condition.
One dead body found
Dimapur, January 19 (MExN): One unidentified dead body of non local male, around 40-45 years was found lying near Railway track in between Dimapur and Khatkhati (Assam) suspected to have fallen down from running train. Inquest was conducted over the dead body and after observing all legal formalities the body was shifted to Dimapur Civil Hospital for post-mortem examination and identification, stated a press release from Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police/PRO, Dimapur. Relatives, friends or any person who can identify the given description/image are informed to contact the Officer-in-Charge, Sub-Urban (SBN) Police Station, Dimapur.
NDPP Office Dimapur shifted
Dimapur, January 19 (MExN): The Office of NDPP Dimapur Region has been shifted to Walford, near Apex Mahindra showroom. Dipak Yholmow, Secretary Media & Communication, NDDP Dimapur Region in a press release informed that all official correspondences will be entertained from the new location. Official working days will be Wednesday and Saturday, while the office will continue to function on other weekdays also.
