Free animal health camp in Kohima

Kohima, August 13 (MExN): The Chief Veterinary Officer’s office, Kohima is conducting ‘Free Animal Health Camp’ on August 15 from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm at Veterinary Hospital compound in Kohima in commemoration of Independence Day. A press release from Dr. Joseph M Angami, Deputy CVO, Kohima has informed the public to avail the opportunity for their livestock and poultry birds.  

Now pay for parking along Nyamo Lotha Road

Dimapur, August 13 (MExN): Regional Transport Authority (RTA), Dimapur has resolved to initiate paid parking of Rs. 10 per hour for all categories of vehicles along Nyamo Lotha Road with immediate effect. The resolution was made during a meeting of the RTA on August 1, informed a notification from District Transport Officer and Secretary, RTA Dimapur. The parking management will be monitored by the Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC), it added. “The exercise is necessitated to streamline random parking and to endorse smooth flow of traffic,” the RTA Secretary stated.  

ANHTU informs awardees

Dimapur, August 13 (MExN): All Nagaland Hindi Teachers’ Union (ANHTU) will be publishing the list of all Hindi Teachers District and State awardees from 1993 till date in the Silver Jubilee Souvenir. Therefore, all the eligible Hindi Teachers have been requested to submit a photo copy of the government awardees order along with a passport size photo to BP Phillip, HEO Hindi (Souvenir Convenor), Directorate of School Education, Kohima or Rometo Sema, ANHTU president, SDEO Dimapur on or before August 20. A press release from Jubilee Planning Committee chairman, Runchunlo Tep and ANHTU general secretary, AS Yarthotngam stated that after the deadline, the Souvenir Committee will not entertain any further proposal.  

Fish farmers receive feeds & fingerlings

Dimapur, August 13 (MExN): A total of 55 beneficiaries under Blue Revolution and 40 beneficiaries (fish farmers) under RKUY received fish feed mustard cake, wheat bran, and fish seeds at Agency Chief Executive Officer (FFDA) office, Fishery Department, Dimapur on August 10. CEO (FFDA) Dimapur, Dr Vimezo while reminding the fish farmers about the scarcity of fish in the market requested them to sell their produce to the department so that it reaches the public. “As the fishery department facilitates the farmers, in return you also have to produce and supply in the market and help the department during such situation,” he urged. Dr. Vimezo thanked the Directorate officials for the help rendered to the fish farmers.  

NDPP Dimapur-II to organize blood donation

Dimapur, August 13 (MExN): Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDDP) Dimapur-II A/C will organize free will blood donation on August 17 at Dimapur Civil Hospital from 10:00 am under the initiative of Nzanbemo Lotha, president, Youth Wing. Therefore, Meren Longkumer, general secretary and R Sanen Lkr, president of NDPP Dimapur-II A/C in a press release have requested all the party workers and well wishers to come and donate blood to save fellow citizens.
