State Level Teachers’ Day celebration
Kohima, September 4 (MExN): The State Level Teachers’ Day celebration will take place at NBCC Convention Centre, Kohima on September 5 from 9:30 am onwards. Nagaland’s School Education Advisor KT Sukhalu will grace the occasion as the Guest Speaker. The occasion will witness presentation of State Level Teachers Award.
Minister H & TE greets on Teachers’ Day
Kohima, September 4 (MExN): Minister for Higher & Technical Education Temjen Imna Along has extended greetings to all the teachers of all the schools, colleges and Institutions on the occasion of Teachers’ Day. In a release, the minister stated that “teachers have been making a difference taking up the noblest profession instilling the passion of learning on the students of the state.” The minister hoped that the teachers of the state will continue to shape and inspire the young minds for the betterment of Nagaland and the nation.
DRSU extends Teachers’ Day greetings

GHSS Jotsoma golden jubilee
Kohima, September 4 (MExN): The Government Higher Secondary School Jotsoma is all set to celebrate its golden jubilee on September 7 at the school promises from 10:00 AM onwards. Nagaland’s school education advisor K.T. Sukhalu will unveil the golden jubilee monolith while souvenir will be released by MLA Keneizhakho Nakhro. Short speeches will be delivered by Menukhol John, principal secretary for school education, Wonthungo Tsopoe, director school education Nagaland and D. Peseyie, first headmaster.
ICFAI Univ 'BizHorn 2018' on Sept 6 & 7
Dimapur, September 4 (MExN): The Department of Management Studies, ICFAI University Nagaland is organizing its annual Management Festival “BizHorn 2018” under the theme “Learning, Enriching, Leading” with the motto “Celebrating the Spirit of Innovations” on September 6 and 7 at ICFAI University Nagaland Campus, 6th Mile, Dimapur. Spiritual Programme at Jakhama from September 7
Kohima, September 4 (MExN): The Jakhama Baptist Church, Mission Board will be organizing 3-day Spiritual Awakening programme at Christian Fellowship, Zhodi Chapel Hall for the students of St Joseph’s College, Jakhama from September 7 to 9 under the theme ‘Rebuild’. A release from the Publicity Cell, Organising Committee, Jakhama Baptist Church Mission Board informed that the speakers for the programme will be Rev Dr Mechiehol Savi, Co-ordinator, School Education NBCC; Dr Neino Zhotso, Women Pastor, Ministers’ Hill Baptist Chruch Kohima; Advocate Kezhokhoto Savi, Assistant Professor, Kohima Law College; Dr Visakhonu Hibo, Principal, Japfü Christian College, Kigwema; and Kezhosato Savi, Associate Pastor, Jakhama Baptist Church. The Organising Committee have requested the students of college students to attend the programme.
