
Juvenile girl forwarded to CWC
Dimapur, September 22 (MExN): Jalukie Police has informed that a girl was found loitering in and around Ngwalwa village area under Peren district. Inspector Logubu Nsu, officer in-charge, Police Station, Jalukie in a press release stated that accordingly Peren Police brought the girl to Jalukie Police Station and tried to ascertain her identity, but on being questioned she was not able to give any rational/satisfactory response about her identity/antecedent. Her name and age according to her is Lovili Sema (17 years), it added. The release further mentioned that she is suspected to be in a state of mental imbalance, adding that the juvenile who is in need of care and protection was forwarded to the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), Peren.
Landowners under Medziphema town informed
Medziphema, September 22 (MExN): Medziphema Village Council (MVC) has informed all land holders under Medziphema town that the Council will be conducting land registration/renewal drive at Medziphema Village Council Hall from October 1 till October 31. A press release appended by Neikhonyu Kuotsu, Chairman, MVC Pelesevi R. Kuotsu, GB and Khriengulie Kapo, Secretary MVC has directed all the land holders/owners to renew/register their land on the mentioned days without fail.
NSCN (R) terminates two
Dimapur, September 22 (MExN): The NSCN (R) through MIP has issued termination order with immediate effect, against Kahoto Aye (APO) of Xekiye Village and Inato Yeptho (Khapur) of Litsami Village. “The anti-social conduct/activities of the individuals was found detrimental to the national principles, as enshrined in clause D, 1 of the 'party discipline' which called for initiating punitive action against the erring person(s),” the MIP stated in a press release. NSCN (R) further warned the erring individuals never to take the NSCN's name for granted again, and for which, the NSCN will not tolerate if its good name is tarnished in future. It also cautioned the public to be aware that the discharged individuals do not represent the NSCN (R) Government anymore and perchance, should any incident occur, “it will not reflect the NSCN (R) in any manner whatsoever, “ it added.
