
NAPO donates Rs 50000 to CMRF
Kohima, September 29 (MExN): Northern Angami Public Organisation (NAPO) donated Rs 50000 to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) for the victims affected by natural calamities this year, it was stated in a press release from Nagaland Archery Association President Neiyalie Pfusenuo.
NMDA says will continue to press against E-pharmas
Dimapur, September 29 (MExN): Nagaland Medicine Dealers Association (NMDA) having meted the bandh called on September 28 against stopping E-pharmacies for the interest of all pharma traders and public health, iterated that “it will continue to educate the public about the ill effect of buying medicines online for the betterment of the people.” It was stated in a press release from its General Secretary. It further hoped that the Government will listen to their demands of stopping the E-pharmacies.
AGBCN 8th biennial youth conference
Dimapur, September 29 (MExN): Association of Gorkha Baptist Churches Nagaland (AGBCN) will be holding its three days 8th biennial youth conference under the theme ‘In step with the word of God’ from October 12-14 at Chümoukedima town hall. It will be hosted by Nepali Baptist Church Chümoukedima, Dimapur stated a press note by the youth secretary, AGBCN Shishir Lama. The speakers for the conference are Reverend Matthias Subba, Himalayan Evangelical Fellowship, Kalimpong, Darjeeling and Reverend Ranjit Kunwar, founder of Living Church Kathmandu Nepal. Other events include battle of bands and cultural dance competition.
Dimapur Congress Committee social work
Dimapur, September 29 (MExN): Dimapur District Congress Committee (DCC) will be organizing a social work on October 2 at Super Market. A press release by Kutoho Chishi, Press Secretary and Bendang Jamir, President DCC has requested all the district frontal congress party workers- District Congress Committee (DCC), District Mahila Congress committee (DMCC), District Youth Congress (DYC) and all the 5th Assembly Constituency Congress Committee (ACCC) and Assembly Youth Congress (AYC) to attend the programme. The NPCC and PCC congress workers are also requested to take part in the mass social work.

Tsokum Mini Hornbill Festival from Oct 3-5
Tuensang, September 29 (MExN): Additional Deputy Commissioner Noklak, Theodore Yanthan in a circular has informed all Heads of Offices under Noklak Sub Division to be at the station in view of the forthcoming Tsokum Mini Hornbill Festival celebration from October 3 to 5. He also advised the citizens of Noklak town and area to maintain peace and maintain law and order for the successful celebration of the festival.
