Applicants invited for rubber plantation assistance

Dimapur, October 3 (MExN): Deputy Rubber Production Commissioner, RO, Dimapur has invited applicants for financial assistance of Rubber plantation/Roller/Smoke house for the year 2017. Only 120 applications will be entertained on first come first basis, a press release stated. Application forms can be downloaded from Rubber Board website www.rubberboard.org.in. Complete applications with required documents in duplicate are to be submitted at Regional Office Dimapur on before October 31.  

Bongklong High School selected for NIT

Peren, October 3 (MExN): Five students and one teacher of Bongklong High School have been selected for National Integrated Tour (NIT) Delhi- Chandigarh - Amritsar and back. The school in a press note stated that it was a matter of pride for the school and the right time for the students to see and experience the culture and history of the country.  

Dimapur to celebrate RTI week

Dimapur, October 3 (MExN): Deputy Commissioner and First Appellate Authority Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel, IAS has informed all the Head of the Offices (HoOs) and NGOs that the celebration of Right to Information (RTI) week is to be held on October 6, 11:00 am in the conference hall of Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur. Therefore all concerned have been requested to attend the programme positively.  

Joint IGNOU Induction meet, Kohima

Kohima, October 3 (MExN): A Joint IGNOU Induction meet for IGNOU SC-2001, Modern College, Kohima and IGNOU SC-2014, Central Library, Nagaland University, Kohima has been scheduled on October 6, 2:00 pm at Modern College, Kohima. It is informed that fresh learners enrolled for July 2018 session are requested to attend the induction positively. Moot Court cum BCI Practical Training at KLC

Kohima, October 3 (MExN): The Kohima Law College (KLC) organized its annual Moot Court cum Bar Council of India (BCI) Practical Training Paper examinations at the college premises on October 2 under the guidance of Professor in-charge Kezhokhoto Savi. Moot Court is part of LL.B study course where the law students took part as counsel/advocate.

GSUK elects new office members

Dimapur, October 3 (MExN): The Gorkha Student’s Union Dimapur (GSUK) has elected new office bearers for the tenure 2018-2021 at Cambridge School, Lingrijan on October 2 under the observance of DGU Chairman, Kumar Subba and Peren District President, Ganesh Limbu. The new elected body are Anand Gurung as the President and Ajay Thapa as the General Secretary along with other executive members. Altogether 18 units and colleges participated in the election.
